Guided day tours

An introduction into canoeing should be held always on the first day after your arrival.

Guided day tours offer the opportunity to discover the almost unspoiled nature via waterway. An introduction into canoeing as well as a safety training are a constant part of all our canoe/kayak tours. A possible tour heads for the Müritz National Park via the water lily paradise. A picknick and a short excursion into the forest could top off this gorgeous tour.

A guide, who you can rent, provides the basis knowledge about ecology and environmental protection of the Mirow Lakes.

Guided tours with stays at other campingsites

Tours lasting several days with luggage from campingsite to campingsite are the most attractive way to discover the Mecklenburg Lakes with its countless channels. Thereby group dynamics, sportive activity, the experience of the own abilities and limits and the feeling for nature and environment as well as the social behaviour are in the foreground. Of course, we can arrange the programmes outdoor educational target oriented, e. g. to train cooperation and communication within the group.

Mostly we use canadiers for these tours. These are easy manageable canoes, which offer enough space to two people plus luggage. Previous experiences are not necessary for these tours. A detailed introduction into canoeing under ecological aspects is an important part before we "set sail". The safety training is another point. There we train how to behave in problems that might happen (e. g. capsizing of a boat, a sudden change in the weather pattern). Of course our experienced and outdoor educational oriented canoe coaches, who will accompany you, are certified lifeguards.

Low season: april - june, except from ascension day until sunday after Pentecost, september- october
High season: Ascension Day (thursday) until sunday after Pentecost, july - august
Prices (in Euro): person / day incl. all required materials and equipment, minimum: 20 persons
